What changed in v1.0.2
Accordion items stop flickering in Firefox, and new sites show the framework version again, in Lumos v1.0.2.
Lumos v1.0.2 was released October 30, 2026. This patch fixes an accordion animation in Firefox and restores the version badge in newly scaffolded sites. Your component names, paths and props stay the same.
Accordion items no longer flicker in Firefox
Opening or closing an accordion item animates its height from 0 to auto. That animation needs interpolate-size: allow-keywords, which Firefox does not support yet. The height could not animate, so the content-visibility step ran on its own and the content flickered.
The animation is now applied only where the browser supports interpolating to a keyword:
@supports (interpolate-size: allow-keywords) {
.accordion_item::details-content {
transition: /* … */;
}
}Chrome, Edge and Safari animate exactly as before. Firefox opens and closes items instantly, with no flicker, and will pick up the animation on its own once it ships interpolate-size. Nothing in your markup changes.
New sites show the framework version again
The style-guide badge on a freshly scaffolded site names the Lumos release it came from. It read the wrong value when the installer could not reach GitHub's API for its metadata. The badge is now correct in both cases, and the framework's own checks build fresh sites with and without that metadata to confirm it.
Updating an existing site
Use the Lumos upgrade workflow to bring in the fix while keeping your project changes. After updating the component and package files, run these commands from your project folder to install the updated tools and check the site.
npm install
npm run check
npm run build
